5 Things: Reminisce, Rembrandt, and Rock
A video tribute to the North Central Chamber of Commerce's 30th Anniversary leads the 5 Things to Know Today for Nov. 9, 2012.
1. Reminisce: Hurricane/Superstorm/Whatever Sandy forced the postponement of the North Central Chamber of Commerce 30th Anniversary Wine Tasting to last night — here's the video shown at the event as part of the celebration.
2. Rembrandt: Or maybe it'll be Van Gogh this time — sign the kids up for Art Smart with Ms. Melyssa at 4 pm today at Mohr Library in Johnston, she see whose style she'll be teaching today. For kids in grades 3 to 6.
3. Rock: For a bit louder of an artistic expression, the JamStage in Pawtucket is hosting a girls and ladies Rock Lab starting at 6:30 pm. For the gals, ages 11 and up. Lessons at 6:30 and rocking from 7 to 7:30 for girls 11 to 17; ladies 18+ get lessons at 7:30 and rock from 8 to 8:30.
