State Trooper Log: DUI Arrests, One Man Apprehended Paying Someone Else's Bail

Scituate Barracks: Troopers arrest man for DUI, refusing chemical test
At 11:26 p.m. on Jan. 31, Troopers arrested Joseph N. Pitrone, 41, of 11 Haven St., Smithfield, RI, for 1) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor and/or Drugs—1st Offense—BAC Unknown and 2) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.
Pitrone was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released into the custody of a family member.
Lincoln Woods Barracks: Man arrested while paying someone else's bail
At 1 a.m. Jan. 18, Troopers arrested Jose Rodrigues, age 44, of 50 Lying Street Dartmouth, MA., for a Sixth District Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Payment Review on the original charge of Driving Under the Influence of Liquor and/or Drugs – 1st Offense / BAC Unknown originating out of the Cumberland Police Department.
The arrest was the result of Mr. Rodrigues arriving at the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks to provide bail money for a prisoner already in custody. Rodrigues was processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution-Intake Center.
