Fireworks - Smithfield's Annual Town Fireworks will be heldSunday, July 7 at Bryant University, 1150 Douglas Pike.

7 pm: The Bryant University campus opens to the public.

8 – 9:30 pm: The United States Navy Band performs.

9:30 pm :Fireworks Display.

Join the fun and celebrate our Nation’s Birthday and a family-oriented evening! (Do not bring personal fireworks, pets, or alcoholic beverages to this event. Lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged.)

Help wanted - This summer Masters Academy in Smithfield is working very hard on building out the new classrooms and movie theater for the school. The School invites local men to come out on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6-9 and Saturdays from 9-2 to help complete the project.

Perfect Your Axels: Over at the Smithfield Ice Rink, there's public skating scheduled from noon to 2 pm Tuesdays and Fridays. Admission is $3, rentals $5.
