Holiday Events at the Crossing at Smithfield for Dec. 7 and 8

Are you heading to the Crossing at Smithfield, 371 Putnam Pike, to do some holiday shopping this weekend?

Here's the list of events scheduled for Dec. 7 and 8 at the local retail center: 

Friday, Dec. 7:

• 4 to 6 pm: TV Chef Tyler Florence is scheduled to appear for a book signing at Dave's Fresh Marketplace [next to FYE Music]. The Jesse Liam Band is also scheduled to appear.
• 7 pm: Polar Express pajama party and sweet treats, followed by visit from Santa, at Barnes and Noble Booksellers.

Saturday, Dec. 8:

• 10 am to 12 pm: Toy drive gift-wrapping Pizza Party, and all-day showings of "The Polar Express" at Uno Chicago Grill.

• Noon to 3 pm:
  
  • Free family photos with Santa at The Home Depot —
    please bring your own camera.
  • Visit SpongeBob Squarepants at Cox Communications.
  • Sample the new seasonal menu at Dave’s Fresh Marketplace.
  • Holiday crafts at Michaels and Old Navy
  • Crayola holiday coloring and special offers from Vera Bradley,
    Chamilia, and more at The Paper Store.

A number of retailers are also continuing their toy collection drive in partnership with the Smithfield Police Department: Barnes & Noble, Cox Communications, Dave’s Fresh Marketplace, Gap, The Home Depot, Lane Bryant LOFT, Michaels, Old Navy, Target, Uno Chicago Grill, Verizon Wireless, and Yankee Candle
