TV Chef to Make Appearance at Smithfield Market

Tyler Florence, host of Food Network's "Food 911," is scheduled to visit Dave's Marketplace on Friday afternoon.

 

The Dave's Marketplace store at Smithfield Crossing, 371 Putnam Pike, is scheduled to host TV chef Tyler Florence on Friday afternoon to sign copies of his new book, "Fresh."

The local market has been selling copies of "Fresh" since Tuesday at a reduced price of $20. Only copies bought at Dave's locations will be signed on Friday, according to an online notice posted on the Dave's website [see the notice attached to this article].

Florence is best known as host of several Food Network shows, including "How to Boil Water" and "Food 911."

In his new book, Florence highlights the ease of getting fresh foods to use as ingredients in recipes.
