BlumShapiro Announces the Promotion of Smithfield Resident Michael Karolewski to Partner
BlumShapiro, the largest regional accounting, tax and business consulting firm based in New England, has announced the promotion of Michael Karolewski to partner in the firm’s accounting and auditing department.
“Michael has served as a trusted business advisor to a wide variety of clients and is a great asset to BlumShapiro,” said Greg Cabral, managing partner of BlumShapiro’s Providence office. “With his wealth of experience in audit and accounting, we are honored to welcome him as our newest partner.”
Formerly a principal at Sullivan and Company, which merged with BlumShapiro earlier this year, Karolewski performs audit and tax engagements for clients in a diverse number of industries, including manufacturing, real estate, technology and professional services.

A resident of Smithfield, Karolewski holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bryant University and is an active member of the local community serving as the treasurer on the Board of Directors of the Smithfield Youth Soccer Association and is a member of the Northern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce.
