Friday Five: Blizzard, Board Posts, Diner, Facebook, Blog

We've made it to the end of the week, and now, it's time to shovel.

Blizzard Warning - Maybe you've heard about this Winter Storm thing everyone's been talking about. The blizzard watch has been upgraded to a blizzard warning. You'll see what all the fuss is about sometime this morning, and it will really get rolling this afternoon. Hopefully, you'll have long retired to home and hearth by then. Keep apprised of all the latest news at our Storm Center page, bundle up, and stay safe.

Board post openings - The town is seeking members to serve on the Sewer Authority, Historic Preservation Commission, Affordable Housing Advisory Board, and Financial Review Commission. Interested parties should submit a letter of interest to the Town Manager’s Office, 64 Farnum Pike, Smithfield, RI 02917 along with an application form.  A letter of interest may contain your interest or experience in the field of each particular board or commission that you are applying for and, optionally, résumé information.
