Mildred C. [Brush] Parker, 85: Former Executive Secretary, St. Joseph's Hospital

Visiting hours are scheduled for Friday afternoon at the Tucker-Quinn Funeral Chapel in Greenville.

Mildred C. [Brush] Parker, 85, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2013. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late George D. and Elsie L. [Bailey] Brush. Mildred was an executive secretary at St. Joseph Hospital for over 20 years before retiring. She lived in Smithfield for over 70 years and enjoyed the Smithfield Senior Center.

She was the mother of Gail L. Dromgoole of Wakefield and Warren A. Rowlett, Jr. of Narragansett. She was the sister of Dorothy Jackson, Barbara Brush, Donald Brush, Frank Brush and the late Robert Brush and George D. Brush, Jr. Grandmother of David Rowlett, Toni Ravis, Warren Rowlett, III, Mary Beth and Erin Dromgoole; great-grandmother of Ashley Jackson, Jacob Ravis and David Joseph "DJ" Rowlett.

Her funeral will be held Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the Tucker-Quinn Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Ave. (Rt.44) Greenville. Visitation Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904 will be appreciated.
