Fun Preschool Activities Series to Begin at East Smithfield Library

Families may commit to the 6-session program after attending the introductory session on April 5.

Parents have a critical role in preparing children for school success. To help both parents and children prepare for the milestone that is the first day of school, East Smithfield Public Library has organized a 6-session program catering to families with preschoolers ages 3-5.

The "Fun Family Activities for Preschoolers" program will kick off on Friday, Apr. 5 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. with an introductory session entitled "Appreciating Our Role As Parents".

As a result of participation in the training, families will discover new, enjoyable and creative ways to support their child’s growth and development. They will also be invited to create individualized Family Treasure Boxes with activities that reflect each family’s culture.

The Apr. 5 session will be an introduction to the series. For families who decide to commit to the series, there will be five additional sessions held at the Library (dates TBA).
