Tuesday Five: Graduation, Music, School Committee, Town Meeting Thursday
Here are a few things you may be interested in today. Congrats to the Smithfield Class of 2013!
SHS Graduation tonight - Bryant University is the location for this year's graduation event, on Tuesday night, June 11, beginning at 7 pm. Seniors must attend the two rehearsals, scheduled for June 10 and 11, to be allowed to walk the stage.
Music at the Crossings - Tonight, from 6 to 8 p.m., weather permiting, The Crossings at Smithfield will present the Jesse Liam Band. The rock and pop band is the second concert in a summer series of Tuesday night performances at the industrial park's gazebo. Bring a blanket.

School Committee - The Smithfield School Committee meets June 12, at the school administration office, 49 Farnum Pike, for a special meeting, at 6:30 p.m. The only item on the agenda is an executive session for "Matters pertaining to personnel."
Summer Recreation Program - Registration is still open for Smithfield's summer recreation program through June 14. The program, run by the Smithfield YMCA, will be held at Gallagher Middle School, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. All participants that register for the Town Recreation Program will be dropped off & picked up at Gallagher daily.

Financial Town Meeting - The Smithfield Financial Town Meeting is coming up June 13, 7 p.m. at Smithfield High School. Check out Smithfield Patch's coverage of the Budget Hearing May 14, and then have a look at the budget they approved.
