The Smithfield Municipal Ice Rink, located at 109 Pleasant View Ave, (Rt. 116), rents ice time to the various youth, high school, and adult groups in the Town of Smithfield as well as other surrounding Northern Rhode Island Communities.

The Smithfield Recreation Department office is also located inside the Ice Rink facility.

Smithfield's ice rink is the Home Ice for the Bryant University Bulldogs Hockey Team, the Smithfield Figure Skating Club, the Northern Rhode Island Viking Youth Hockey Program, and the Smithfield High School, Johnston High School, and Scituate High School varsity hockey teams.

The Ice Rink provides public skating hours for the general public on Sundays 12 pm – 2 pm; and weekdays Tuesdays and Fridays 12 pm – 2 pm. In addition, ice time is availabel to rent for birthday parties for all ages and have a spacious conference room for rent to accommodate for all kinds of gatherings. Please come and join neighbors and friends during our public skating hours and during other skating events for an enjoyable ice-skating experience in a wonderful community environment.
